At PVFBC, giving is part of our worship — just as much as singing or sitting under the preached Word. Every Sunday, right after worship and before the message, we have a dedicated time to honor God with our generosity.
This isn't about meeting a budget. It's about what giving does in you. God cares more about how generosity changes your heart than about the amount in the plate.
"Generosity begins with gratitude. We're not paying a bill. We're responding to grace."
How to Give
During our Worship Through Giving time each Sunday, ushers receive the offering before the message. This is our primary weekly opportunity to give together as a church family.
A giving box is available in the sanctuary before and after every service for those who prefer to give outside of the offering time.
Give securely from anywhere at any time through our online giving platform. Set up a one-time gift or recurring giving in just a few minutes.

Our Approach
We believe the Bible has a lot to say about generosity, and most of it is better news than people expect. Here are the four principles that shape how we think about giving at PVFBC.
We give freely, in response to the goodness of God, not out of guilt or obligation.
We honor God by deciding ahead of time what we'll give, not on the fly as the plate comes around. Giving planned in advance is giving given with purpose.
God doesn't judge your giving by the dollar amount. He looks at the proportion. A small gift from someone giving sacrificially is equal to a large gift from someone giving easily.
The early church gave on the first day of every week. Giving becomes part of the natural rhythm of the Christian life, like prayer, Scripture, and fellowship.
If you're visiting with us, please don't feel any pressure to give. The offering time is for those who have found a home here. We're just glad you're with us.
Our financial secretary is happy to help with any questions about your giving record, contributions, or setting up online giving.
